San Francisco, CA – CSRware™, a recognized leader in on-demand software for energy efficiency, carbon and sustainability management, announced today that it has been selected as a case study for Microsoft Windows Azure World Tour 2009. CSRware has been leveraging the Windows Azure platform and other Microsoft platform tools and technologies through Microsoft BizSpark, a global program to help startups grow into successful businesses through software, support, and visibility with no upfront costs. CSRware CEO, Karen Alonardo, will present an overview of the company’s Green IT performance management solution and describe how using the Windows Azure platform to integrate with Cisco EnergyWise helps CSRware’s customers more effectively manage their data center energy efficiency and carbon management initiatives by aggregating tens of thousands of data points for better benchmarking, initiative tracking, ROI analysis and reporting.

“Offering cloud-based integration provides our customers greater flexibility, scalability and security,” noted Karen Alonardo, Founder and CEO of CSRware. “The Microsoft BizSpark program has enabled us to take advantage of Microsoft platform offerings like the Windows Azure platform, making it easier to integrate with monitoring solutions for energy, water, waste and other key resource parameters.
