Karen Alonardo, Founder and CEO

With 17 years in a number of key leadership and entrepreneurial positions at Fortune 500 and private start-up companies, Karen has a successful track record with high growth companies like Electronic Arts and Critical Path. During this time, Karen managed global hi-tech Information Technology and Software development organizations with a drive towards innovation, product development and strategic vision.

 

Over the last several years, her domain expertise has been at the intersection of Supply Chain / Energy Efficiency / Carbon Management, Sustainability and Green IT with an emphasis on methodology and global natural resource policy implications surrounding energy, water, waste and GHG emission issues. Since founding CSRware, Karen has advocated the need for Enterprise environmental financial visibility, measuring what you manage, and actions necessary to optimize natural resources, reduce energy costs and abate greenhouse gas emissions. Her vision for CSRware is to help companies integrate environmental, technology and business management expertise into the fabric of their organizations.

 

To continue CSRware’s forward thinking approach, Karen currently works directly with industry leaders, engages alliance partners and is active with customers to define corporate and product requirements for the CSRware product team. Karen’s direct customer facing interaction allows continuous refinement to positioning, product development, reducing customer Op Ex, illuminating ROI and problems of resource optimization to sustain a profitable business and thriving global economy.

 

Karen received her Master’s in Science in Environmental Management (MSEM) from USF with a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University.

Bruce Keiser, President

Bruce is a seasoned entrepreneur with over twenty years of successful business experience founding, growing and managing companies. He has raised over $50 million in seed, growth and strategic investment with successful exits for companies in the Internet and Software Services, Networking and Charitable markets.

 

Bruce has also served since 2004 as the Silicon Valley based executive for a number of Video on Demand and Network technology companies on behalf of NewWorld TMT, the telecom, media and technology business management arm of the New World Group, one of Hong Kong’s largest conglomerates (www.nwd.com.hk). Previously, Bruce was the co-founder and CEO of Namezero, Inc., a leading domain name services company, where Bruce lead the company’s corporate strategy, growth and operations to more than 1.5 million customers and a valuation of $100,000,000 in less than 18 months. Namezero was acquired in 2003 (www.namezero.com).

 

Prior to Namezero, Bruce led American Digital Network’s (ADN) corporate strategy and business development efforts adding millions in revenue, establishing key partnerships and managing ADN’s venture capital and investment banking relationships. ADN was acquired in 2001 (www.americanis.net). Prior to ADN, Bruce advised early stage companies in their organization, strategy, fundraising, marketing and business development efforts including ARTISTdirect (www.artistdirect.com). Bruce started his career as a serial entrepreneur by founding ImmunoCorp, an immunological diagnostics company. Immuno Corp was acquired in 1990.

 

In addition to portfolio companies First Tracks Productions, AlexisRoland.com, PerChoice, Marriage Café, and Luxury Direct, Bruce is an active supporter and advisor to a number of charitable organizations including Sense of Security; Los Gatos Education Foundation, Building Opportunity and Opportunity International.

 

He holds a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Santa Clara University with an emphasis in Communications and Analysis.

Ragy Eleish, Software Architect

Ragy Eleish is a veteran software architect with 16+ years experience in developing innovative high quality software systems such as e-commerce enterprise applications, distributed processing systems and reporting products. Ragy brings a creative and critical thinking approach with strong leadership qualities and a proven track record to the CSRware development team.

 

Ragy held a software architecture role at Oracle for 6 plus years. He was responsible for releasing Oracle’s business intelligence Publisher application from product concept to a fully developed product supporting four different version of the application. While at Oracle, Ragy moved to the Oracle Applications group advancing JDK from 1.1 to 1.5 after only one month at Oracle. Prior to Oracle, Ragy worked for Comergent (worked for a CSRware BOD) responsible for development and deployment of five major software releases. While at Comergent, he architected and developed the Comergent J2EE platform.

 

Ragy received his MS degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and an MS degree in Systems Engineering from Ain Shams University, Cairo Egypt where he also received a B.S. in Systems Engineering. He was also a lecturer at the Ain Shams University school of Engineering.

 

Barry Johnston, Vice President of Sales

Barry brings a lifetime of sales management experience and over 16 years of entrepreneurial experience, having started or assisted in several successful startups. These businesses range from small to midsize and are in the Medical, Packaging and Distributions sectors. Barry’s significant contribution in these companies has been his ability to develop sales approaches and implement teams to carry them out.

 

Barry is co-founder of PWC International, a global distribution and post-industrial waste recycling company. After PWC purchased Supply Side USA in 2008, Barry led the division back to prominence as the premier retail supplier to the Self Storage and Parcel markets in the US.

 

Barry holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Westminster College.
