California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR)
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is responsible for the operation of the California state prison and parole system. It is the second largest law enforcement and police agency in the United States. The CDCR group engages in tracking sustainability to optimize resource consumption.
Governor Brown Signs Legislation to Boost Renewable Energy
On April 12, 2011, Governor Edmund G. Brown, Jr. signed SBX1 2, which requires one-third of the state’s electricity to come from renewable sources. The legislation increases California’s current 20 percent renewables portfolio standard target in 2010 to a 33 percent renewables portfolio standard by December 31, 2020.
CDCR saves energy, water, and reduces landfill waste at its facilities.
CDCR also generates electricity, through solar power plants. These programs save the state money, and help to reduce harmful pollutants into the atmosphere. In 2008, CDCR became a member of the Climate Registry, and has been recognized nationally for its efforts. The goal is to reduce energy usage by 20%, by 2015.

The host of the Honda Classic featuring players like Tiger Woods and Rory Mcilroy, PGA National is a 2,340-acre recreational and residential community located in a magnificent wooded and lake setting in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Business on Climate Change
CSRware has been a member since 2008 and powers the software to drive business to The Business Council on Climate Change (BC3). BC3 is a public-private partnership between local government and the business community that works to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in San Francisco through dialogue, collaboration, and direct action.
We provide a platform for business-to-government collaboration on projects than enhance San Francisco’s climate goals, such as increasing electric vehicle adoption, providing private sector feedback on proposed actions under the climate action plan, and facilitating the creation of a green tenant toolkit to enhance landlord-tenant engagement on sustainability. We serve the San Francisco Bay Area business community, the City and County of San Francisco, and beyond (reducing emissions locally provides global benefits).

CSRware provided Electronic Arts, the largest video game developer, marketer, publisher and distributor in the world, with the expertise needed to start their green / sustainability programs. EA recognizes the need to integrate the environmental, social, and economic aspects of our lives and the importance of striking a balance over the long term. Avaya selected CSRware as their Sustainable Supply Chain solution to better manage vendor activities. Avaya is a telecommunications company which specializes in enterprise network, telephony, and call center technology. Avaya is committed not only to serving their clients with cutting-edge communications solutions, but also to helping their customers meet environmental commitments while they strived to be a more environmentally friendly company from within.
VMware
VMware participated with CSRware in the early days of Green IT to develop a software solution to manage energy efficiency across data centers and facilities. VMware is a company specializing in virtualization software and cloud infrastructure. VMware believes that being green means more than just reducing the need for serves and lowering IT operational costs through virtualization. It has taken large steps to reduce its carbon footprint by tracking and diverting resource consumption.
