Currently Mr. McCurdy is a board member, CEO advisor, entrepreneur, and investor advisor working with several companies and on a variety of projects.

Most recently Keith McCurdy was co Founder and CEO of Vivaty, a web based 3D virtual world platform company which enabled a high level of user generated avatar personalization and environment customization and was fully integrated within a community, social network, or a branded web site. Vivaty investors include KPCB and MDV. Vivaty was acquired by Microsoft.

Previously Mr. McCurdy was Chief Operating Officer at Hands-On Mobile, a mobile content company with over 800 employees around the world delivering games, lifestyle applications, IM clients, personalization content, and SMS products.

Previously to Hands-On, Mr. McCurdy was President and CEO of Blaze Entertainment (previously Kayak Interactive), a global mobile games publisher. The company published a wide portfolio of mobile entertainment products for mass market consumers on over 100 carriers around the world. Blaze was acquired by Oberon.

Mr. McCurdy is a 12-year veteran of Electronic Arts (EA). Mr. McCurdy joined EA pre IPO when the company had just over 100 employees and his tenure encompassed the company’s growth to over 3,500 employees and over $1.5 billion in annual revenues. Mr. McCurdy held a number of positions at EA, including Vice President of Product Development, Vice President of Technology, and Vice President of Online. Mr. McCurdy founded EA’s Online Division, leading the company’s strategy and technology effort onto the Internet and the creation of the first successful online business in the gaming industry. As Vice President of Technology for World Wide Studios, Mr. McCurdy played a key role in the company’s M&A efforts, strategic relationships, and platform strategies.

Mari is a strong operational executive with over seventeen years of experience in both Fortune 500 companies and private start-ups. She has a successful track record of driving corporate and business development, sales and marketing, channel management and product management efforts.

Mari comes to McNamee Lawrence & Co. from SlamDunk Networks, a privately funded network services and software company. As Chief Operating Officer she was responsible for day to day operations, including direct sales, product management, customer support, and network operations. Additionally, she was responsible for the oversight of alliances with strategic partners including VeriSign, Unisys, and IBM. Mari joined SlamDunk Networks from Critical Path, a global leader in digital communications software and services. As Executive Vice President of worldwide sales, professional services, and business development, Mari was responsible for all of Critical Path’s customer-facing activities. Mari also led the corporate development efforts which resulted in several acquisitions, including Fabrik Communications, Amplitude, Isocor and PeerLogic Software.

Previous to her start-up experience, Mari spent a decade with AT&T and Pacific Bell where she had increasingly responsible roles in development, sales and marketing, product management and business development. Mari has a High-Tech MBA from Northeastern University and a BS degree in CMS/MIS from Clarkson University.

With 17 years in a number of key leadership and entrepreneurial positions at Fortune 500 and private start-up companies, Karen has a successful track record with high growth companies like Electronic Arts and Critical Path. During this time, Karen managed global hi-tech Information Technology organizations with a drive towards innovation, product development and strategic vision.

Over the last several years, her domain expertise has been at the intersection of Energy Efficiency / Carbon Management, Sustainability and Green IT with an emphasis on methodology and global natural resource policy implications surrounding energy, water, waste and GHG emission issues. Since founding CSRware in 2006, Karen has advocated the need for Enterprise environmental financial visibility, measuring what you manage, and actions necessary to reduce energy costs and abate greenhouse gas emissions. Her vision for CSRware is to help companies integrate environmental, technology and business management expertise into the fabric of their organizations.

To continue CSRware’s forward thinking approach, Karen currently works directly with industry leaders, engages alliance partners and is active with customers to define corporate and product requirements for the CSRware product team. Karen’s direct customer facing interaction allows continuous refinement to positioning, product development, reducing customer Op Ex, illuminating ROI and problems of carbon abatement and ways to prepare for future carbon trading markets.

Karen received her Master’s in Science in Environmental Management (MSEM) from USF with a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University.
